Towed Car Help has no accounts, no cookies and no advertising. We do not run analytics or tracking scripts.

What stays on your device

Evidence checklist. Your ticks and notes are saved in your browser's local storage, and your photos in its IndexedDB storage, on this device only. They are never uploaded. Use "Clear everything" on the checklist to delete them, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
Tow checker and dispute letter. Your answers and the letter are worked out in your browser. When you go from the checker to the letter, the possible problems are passed in your browser's session storage and expire after a day.
Calendar reminders. The deadline tool makes the calendar file in your browser. Nothing is sent to us.

Our host. Like any website, the company that serves these pages (Netlify) keeps standard request logs, such as IP address, page and time, for security and reliability.
City contact lists. The find-my-car tool downloads the list of phone numbers for the state you pick. It does not send your answers.
Links you follow. Official sites we link to, such as city police and state agencies, have their own privacy policies.

We do not sell personal information, share it for advertising, or build profiles of visitors.

We do not track visitors, so a Do Not Track signal from your browser does not change anything here.

This site is meant for adults dealing with a towed car and is not directed at children.

If this changes, we will update this page first and change the effective date at the top.
