Towed Car Help helps people whose car was towed find it, understand the bill, and know their rights. We focus on private-property tows, because that is where most confusion and disputes happen.

How we research

• Every rule comes from the state law itself or an official county, city, sheriff or police page, and we link to it.
• We publish a city only when we can verify its maximum rates or an official way to find a towed car.
• When something is not verified, we say so on the page instead of guessing.
• Each page shows the date we last checked it. Rate schedules usually change once a year, so we re-check them on a schedule.
